What We Do

Our fully licensed behavioral health professionals help service members and families build resiliency and navigate quality-of-life issues. Clinicians use DSM 5-TR standards to assess and diagnose all psychological conditions to ensure that they are within the appropriate scope of practice.

Fully trained and licensed staff provide care on-site or via remote virtual support platforms. Our scope of care abilities includes mental health coaching, counseling for adjustment issues, suicide prevention, clinical case management, and domestic and child abuse prevention and intervention.

Our counselors also support military specific non-medical counseling in a variety of areas including successful relationships, military transitions, operational stressors, child behavioral issues, and quality of life challenges specific to military life.

Cultural Understanding

We train our behavioral health providers to perform within ethical and legal boundaries to ensure safe and high-quality client care within the defined scope of each contract’s requirements.

Mental health counselor expertise encompasses a wide array of mental health topical areas and the counselor’s role in developing client wellness. Our training program enhances this depth of knowledge with extensive clinical training during onboarding, as well as sustainment training.  Our training is approved by the Association of Social Work Boards to grant continuing education units for our clinically focused trainings.

Our training program includes military cultural competencies to ensures providers understand military demographics and lifestyles. Many of our clinicians possess a direct military affiliation.  We build on this understanding of the community to create the trusting relationship critical for providing personalized care.

 

Our Clinicians

Care is provided by licensed, experienced, and military culturally competent behavioral health providers.

Licensed clinicians may diagnose and treat various behavioral health issues or provide triage and referral, applying their expertise to a wide array of topical areas. We work within defined scopes of practice, such as those specified by operating clinics or military directives and instructions. All practitioners undergo applicable credential review and clinical privileging.

Our team of clinicians are professionals licensed to practice independently and includes:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
  • Licensed Certified Professional Counselors (LCPC)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC)

Support Delivery

Zeiders offers the ability to provide care and support through multiple methods, making it possible to receive the same quality therapy and psychological services from any location. Clinicians provide these services through either confidential in-person or telehealth options.

Our counselors are trained to remove hurdles to accessing care, and we build our core delivery systems to overcome challenges to accessing care.  Virtual telehealth services allows real-time access to care by phone, video conferencing, and chat capabilities. Zeiders ensures confidentiality through secure, private, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing software. We take care to protect our client’s privacy during each encounter.

Clinical Case Management

Licensed professionals provide case management services, often as military support counselors. We walk the client’s journey with them, serving as a safety net for those at-risk.

We collaborate with behavioral health providers and other stakeholders to provide information and referral connections that assist clients in developing and integrating an ongoing plan. Continuous connection with the client supports ongoing risk assessment and coordination of care.

Our case management services ensure that all work meets secure environment requirements, retention time frames, compliance with documentation protocols, and command support and coordination as appropriate.

Focus on Education

We tailor behavioral health training and communities of practice to specific needs or trends and contract scopes of practice, incorporating current research and real-world scenarios. As specialists in military and veteran issues, our training includes understanding military culture and specific areas of concern within military communities.

Our training program enhances the depth of knowledge of our Clinical Counselors.  The Association of Social Work Boards grants continuing education units for our clinically focused trainings
