Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day

Veterans Day is a federal holiday dedicated to honoring all who have served in the United States Armed Forces, both in times of war and peace. It marks the anniversary of the end of World War I, when the armistice was signed on “the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” in 1918.

Our veterans embody the values that define our nation: loyalty, courage, and integrity. Today, and every day, we recognize their service and sacrifices, and we express our deepest gratitude for their contributions to the freedoms we enjoy.
