Zeiders Enterprises, Inc. (Zeiders) is pleased to announce that March 2024 marks the 40th anniversary for the company.
Forty years ago, Michael Zeiders, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in 1975, started the company, working out of his home in Woodbridge, Virginia. Today, the company’s corporate headquarters is located on Caton Hill Road in Woodbridge, VA. Zeiders delivers on its mission of providing quality of life services and military community support that make a positive difference for individuals, families, organizations, and communities.
We employ highly qualified professionals with over 40 unique advanced certifications serving in worldwide locations supporting a variety of human services programs including behavioral health counseling, family support services, military spouse employment, personal financial management, military to civilian career transition, and human performance support. Zeiders employees’ passion for service, range of professional abilities, and depth of experience to serve the military community is key to continued success.
In 1986, Zeiders was awarded its first military Family Service Center contract at the Marine Corps Base Quantico. As the military faced new challenges in service delivery, Zeiders has responded with new contract services to meet service member, family, and command needs. By the mid-1990s, Zeiders Enterprises graduated from small business status and established a solid reputation for providing quality services through the operation of the Navy’s Fleet and Family Support Centers. In the early 2000’s, Zeiders capabilities grew to include the largest veteran- and military-focused personal finance counseling provider network, a virtual career center supporting military spouses, and behavioral health services recognized with the Joint Commission’s Health Care Staffing Services certification for quality. In the 2020’s, Zeiders added additional clinical counseling support and established virtual counseling services to assist active duty and family members wherever them may be located. Today, Zeiders Enterprises delivers mission essential services to millions of military and family members each year through in-person contact, contact centers, and virtual service delivery at military installations and locations worldwide.
Zeiders has had the humbling privilege to support our nation and the U.S. Military during difficult times. In 2000, the company provided support for the families of the USS Cole bombing and in 2002, four Zeiders’ staff members received Meritorious Public Service Awards for supporting the establishment of the Pentagon Family Assistance Center after the 9/11 terrorist attack. We have answered the call for assistance supporting our military communities responding to numerous natural disasters and receiving the Seven Seals Award for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserves, including Hurricanes Katrina, Maria, Irma, Typhoon Mawar, and CA and Hawaii fires.
