memorial-day-2018_imageMemorial Day is a day of remembrance of those who have died in the service of the United States of America. These men and women made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives to ensure the safety of their home and to keep their fellow citizens strong and free.

Originally, this day was called Decoration Day. It was centered on decorating the graves of those who had fallen in the Civil War. In 1882, the name was changed to Memorial Day. In 1971, Richard Nixon named Memorial Day a national holiday to remember service members from all American wars.

On this day and every day, Zeiders honors the fallen in the form of remembrance, paying homage to the men and women who gave their lives so that we may live ours. We recognize the unique stressors and challenges of military life, and we strive to ease these obstacles through our support of military personnel, veterans and their families.

Thank you for your service and dedication to our nation.
