Chairman Mike Zeiders has announced the appointment of Paul Richardson, previously Senior Vice-President for Contract Operations, as President and CEO. Richardson succeeded Tamra Avrit as President on October 1, 2016 and as CEO on January 1, 2017. Ms. Avrit will remain at Zeiders serving as a Senior Advisor.
Richardson has a proven record of facilitating long-term business relationships with customers, partners and industry leaders. He has over 25 years of experience in program management, customer service and clinical operations and served in the first Gulf War as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the U.S. Army. Mike Zeiders said, “Paul’s depth of operational experience and technical depth, focus on quality, commitment to people, and passion for our mission will complement and support all with whom he works. I am very confident that Paul is the right leader at the right time to help our company grow and expand, while remaining true to our legacy and heritage.”
Tamra Avrit commented, “I am thrilled to transition these positions to Paul. He is a remarkable leader and I am confident he will ensure that Zeiders continues to lead the way in providing positive human service solutions to our military and veteran communities.”

Prior to his Senior Vice President role, Mr. Richardson was Zeiders’ Director of Corporate Development and fulfilled executive roles with Anthem BCBS, Amerigroup and Ceridian. He served as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the U.S. Army and is a combat veteran of the First Gulf War. He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tampa. He is also a Six Sigma graduate of the Juran Institute.
